Any ideas of anywhere in the country that does it?

Dont think you can get it done anywhere in Ireland, although ive heard of some places doing it on friends of the studio kind of thing.

Make sure youve done your researdh on it, its a pretty gruesome art. Along the same lines as surgery!! I sure with a name as fantasy suicide you will have no problem with it! ;)

I know that its practiced in the uk and amsterdam.

I know a few people doing it in the country but they're not that great, though lukas spira is in into tattoo in london quite regularly and he'd be the man to get some done by

i would highly recommend Samppa of http://www.madmaxtattoo.com
As far as i know he is still working out of London at the moment, and his work is fantastic, both in general piercing and bodmod.
and besides the trip to London last year is a good excuse to see London and "hang" about with friends;)

Oh that looks so so painful... i think id prefer branding, although i know the results might not be what you wanted.

branding is one of the most intense things ive EVER done to myself. i branded 3 large circles on the back of each calf in Feb in one sitting. the doing of it was fine, but once nerve endings start growing/feeling things again, it was not much fun at all for about a month! being hardly able to walk is quite the pain in the ass. in retrospect, doing one circle at a time would have made much more sense, but hey the adrelanine was running fast.

Yeah i'll vouch for Samppa, i've had some work done by him and done some seminars with him. He seriously is one of the top body mod experts in the world.

ive been considering the consideration of getting some scarification done myself actually. ive got a design and all, i'm just not sure if i could be arsed going through the extra pain, its a fairly big design and it would be on my belly...so, yeah, i'll probably talk myself out of that idea and just have it tattoed

Yeah? I scar real easily so I was thinkin it'd work real well. But getting white ink looks pretty much the same...

I don't really think it's that great an idea to use white ink for a big piece...
    scarification would look better, imo

Do the scars turn white when you skin tans? I think it's called hyperpigment but i could be wrong
