Question about Tokyo Marui Glock

I've been looking for the glock 18c EBB (does the "ebb" mean it's plastic, and if so, is the quality worse because it's plastic?) by Tokyo Marui for a good price, but all I could find was that gun for e100+ on numerous sites (maybe because some are metal??? I don't really know). But, I found an official site of Tokyo Marui and the gun comes to a total price of e49 including shipping. Is this a different gun I'm looking at? It's fully automatic electric gun, do you think I've found a steal?
Has anyone bought/used this gun that can tell me what it's like?
Anyone give me some pics of the gun?

    Help appreciated.

EBB stands for electric blow back, which is the mechanism used for semi and full auto weapons.
you can also get GBB or gas blow back, these require a can of compressed air every 40-50 shots to recharge the small gas chamber in the gun.

EBB: Electric Blow Back ie once you fire the gun the top slide doesnt move back then forward inserting a new bb ready to fire, there is an internal mechanism that reloads the bb. Yes it is plastic but that does not mean that its bad. I own a plastic GBB or Gas Blow Back and it rocks my world. The TM Glock EBB uses a small 7v battery which is rechargable, it also comes with a specific charger for that battery. Make sure that if you buy it, the charger is the correct voltage for ireland (is it 110v or 220v?)

Back to the plastic. because its plastic it is cheaper but doesnt mean its bad. Like all TM guns there are accessories for the gun, i wouldnt be at all surprised if you could actually buy an all metal kit to replace the plastic body.

as for the pricing you got it wrong, it was 15800Yen. xe.com convert money, 15800y = 106e

it is a great gun and guys at sg1 combat love it, cheaper as you dont need to buy gas all the time or replace broken seals and it requires less maintenance

Thanks for all the info, but the gun I'm looking at comes to a total of 49e. This is the gun:
    http://www.tokyohobby.net/store/product_details.php?p=469

Maybe someone can tell me more about it now? It says for ages 10 and over, this has me wondering is it low powered since children can use it. It shoots 25 metres but it doesnt say the fps.

About the GBB's, where can you buy a can of compressed air? Is that all you need to operate this gun all the time?

Can anyone suggest some good guns at a low price, I'm a beginner but I want to have a gun with some power (probably looking for at least 230 fps if possible) and to be fully automatic (this is the reason I'm looking at the gun above), I'd also like the gun to look cool :D

    Thanks for the help

battery operated guns are a lot cheaper to maintain and keep in working order if you are going to be using them a lot. the valves and seals on GBB guns are prone to wear and tear.

that website only accepts bank to bank transfers as payments.... no thanks.
plus i would only buy TM guns straight from TM as you are probably buying a used gun.

What does TM stand for? Could you give me some good sites and possibly name some good fully auto guns at a cheap price (can be glocks, machine guns, sniper rifles etc.)? Thanks for all the help but I need more :o

First of all DO NOT BUY FROM TOKYO HOBBY! They are scam artists that are known thoughout the worlds airsoft community and have taken thousands of dollars/ euros/ yen/ CAD from peoples wallets and not sent out the goods that the unfortunate customer has ordered.

Pertaining to the original point of discussion:

TM make two types of electric glock 18c's:

EBB (Electric Blow Back): These run off of AAA batterys that are stored in the magwell and use a thin banana shaped magazine. The power disharged is very low, they use .12 bb's and only fire around 100 shots before they need new batterys. The slide blows back for each shot, however the slide is very light so there is not much blowback.

They are a nice little gun for plinking in the back garden but are less then ideal for skirmishing.

AEP (Automatic Electric Pistol): These are a recent addition to TM's lineup, they use what is essentially a miniturized AEG gearbox and use a small rechargeable battery which is stored inside the lower frame, below the guns barrel. They fire at a reasonable 250-260 FPS (far higher then an EBB), have an automatic function and can be upgraded. However they operate with a fixed slide (non blowback) and have a higher cost then the EBB.

Imho go for the AEP if you don't mind saving up a little longer but the EBB would make a nice beginners gun.

I recommend this retailer to buy from; easy to navigate website, fast & efficient service and have a massive stock: WGC Shop

    , Hope this helps :)

Thanks for that. Thanks for the link too, could you give me a link to that AEG gun you were talking about, I can't find it :o . I've been looking at this gun, for a good price, it says it's still working, what do you all think? Link:http://www.speedytoys.com/shop/item.asp

EDIT: In the aboce link, go to "used airsoft guns" and it's the USED UTG MP5-A4/A5 AEG Full-Auto Airsoft Gun for $50.

Quoted myself. Need help/advice on this gun. Do you think I should be suspicious that this gun is returned, and that it says "If you experience any motor problems upon receiving the item, you can easily fix the gun by tightening a couple screws as demonstrated in this graphic.
    "

I love this gun, it's perfect for what I want and take a look at it in action http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6tlrv8ywAE

    What do you think?

Its a cheap Chinese clone of the TM MP5 series (which isn't that good to begin with). The QC on these guns are hit nad miss with some working fine for thousands of rounds and others falling apart within a few hours of use.

You can find plenty of reviews here

I'm a beginner. Thanks for all that. But do you know where I can get this gun the cheapest? Is speedytoys.com my best bet, even though it's a used gun?
I really need help ASAP as I'm ordering today. Thanks. Any help appreciated.

If you rush into buying an Airsoft gun, especially a 2nd hand Airsoft gun, your going to end up with a useless piece of crap that'll probably break after very little use.
I can't see a 2nd hand gun being any use to be honest. The owner probably getting rid of it because its not as good as they thought it would be, or becuase its not working too well.

Or they might just wanna get a different gun cos that one isnt what they wanted?

Of course, its down to your own personal opinion/taste. I just dont like the idea of a 2nd hand Airsoft gun. They eventually all suffer from wear & tear, so your not going to get as long out of a used gun as a new 1. Just my opinion.
