Hi, I'm considering buying a canon xl2 (I've got an Xm2 at the moment) as I'm a keen amateur videographer and will probably start into wedding videos next year. The Xm2 is very limited. Is it worth splashing out the 3-4k (3k depending on whether it's bought in the US or 4k if not) on a non hd camera or would ye recommend…

Hi,
I'm considering buying a canon xl2 (I've got an Xm2 at the moment) as I'm a keen amateur videographer and will probably start into wedding videos next year. The Xm2 is very limited. Is it worth splashing out the 3-4k (3k depending on whether it's bought in the US or 4k if not) on a non hd camera or would ye recommend waiting to see how the high definition market pans out in the coming year? I'll probably buy early next year,
