    with the merrion shutting and having been away awhile i was wondering what are the options for poker tonigth, and were is everyone here goin.

    fits is still prob the best option, but what are the numbers like recently? is there any lower buy in tournies worth a visit? SE, or drogheda even?

    appreciate any answers, itching for a live game!

    The SE rebuy game is a disaster from what I've seen of it. Two tables or maybe three and gamble gamble. The Fitz scalps is poorly structured and can get farcical but it's had 90 and 105 runners in the last two weeks so the prize pool is seriously juicy and the standard is bad generally.

    I'm not sure what kind of business the jackpot is doing following the changes or Silks or if anybody is adding to the prize pool a phone call to the relevant establishments to get the full story could be in order.

    GL wherever you end up playing Donal (becasue you know you'll be playing somewhere!!!! ;p)

    cheers olly, yeh figured as much that the fitz was the best bet, although was hoping that perhaps the changed schedule in SE or the jackpot might have offered something diff.

    Any1 here goin to the fits tonight then? think ill take a trip up from the country

    id join you but unfortunately have a repeat to do on monday and have some serious cramming to do,

    yeah think the scalps is best option, serious prize pool last time i was there, 3k for 1st, structure isnt great but standard is absolutely terrible, great value..

    Yeah forget the S.E friday game at all costs. 1000 starting stack blinds up every orbit.
    I'd love if the fitz friday game was better structured. I want to go there tonite as its a good game up to a point but i dont play it often for this reason.
    Silks are not adding to the prizepool and i dont figure the runners will be over 15-20 tonight.
    Why no Dublin cardroom/casino dont have their 4000+4000 DC €100 freezeout on a friday or saturday nite beats me.

    Overall the fitz game on friday is best i'd say.

    i agree, terrible that there is no other option on a fri, if it was overly big stacked and had a ddecent prizepool there would be hardly any deals either because no1 would be in a rush for work etc . . . something perhaps Jackpot should look into. From what i remembered dealing the Friday game in the SE it was a joke, just wondered had they changed the schedule accordingly.

    yeh derm looks like ill drive up for the scalps, bn ages since live poker, got itchhy fingers, either out b4 break or do half decent, we'l see! will going? get on to him and ask him, cheers,
