I've been using the same football boots for years -the addidas Copa Mundials, and now they've started to tear.

Went into Arnotts today to replace them with another pair of Copa's and although they had the World Cup brand (basically the same boot as the Copa Mundials but with studs) I didn't recognise much else.

The Copa Mundial's are like wearing a pair of slippers, they are light and you have a fantastic touch in them, great feel of the ball.

I did notice lots of those silver/plasticy type of football boot that cost upwards of 120 and saw some for 200euro.

I need some advice because i've been away from the scene for awhile,

what boots would you guys recommend?

What is the deal with those silvery plastic type of boots? Are they better? Is price something to throw into the equation - i.e. nice silvery boots for 200euro - is it just fashion or are they a better design?
