pc reboots when i open teamspeak and c&c renegade

when i open teamspeak(a program to alow you to talk to other players in gams using microphones)
and c&c renegade(a game in the command and conquer range)
my pc just goes back to the boot screen(the one where it identifies the main processor and tests the memory)
why is this this never happenes to anyone else and it wil work on my lower spec rig
why does this happen?

edit-it doesent even restart it just comes up on the boot screen

Have a read of this not your problem, but a guy in this thread had similarproblems with BF1942 and it turned out to be graphics driver causing some issues...

actually i had software that came with my graphics card and it was the version that caused them to burn out(if you remember with the ati's)i got the new version and i was lucky
anyway i need more ideas its not a low psu as my pc came with a 300v and i recently bought a 450v to try and fix but that didnt work.
its not cooling as i recently replaced my heatsink and the temperatures dont change when i open the two programmes.
it could be the drivers but i need more ' could be's ' until i can see one that looks possible

No such thing as Corp Ed Windows XP. There's volume licence versions, but Corporate Edition usually refers to a hacked/cracked copy.

Presumably the game functions ok without TS?

ya the games ok without teamspeak and there is corporate edition its a cd without a key you just insert into your cd drive and install
plus you get all this free software like power dvd deluxe

Trust me there's not. Only a cracked versions of Windows are called Corp Ed. If it is legit it's a volume licence version. But we're getting off topic.

Have you latest version of TS and all patches for game installed?

Worth a try but have you opened renegade first and theh alt-tab and open teamspeak after. i had a problem with BF:V where the sound in battlefield would not work if i opened teamspeak first...... could be a more violent reaction with renegade and TS....
