Was in Game the other day and i'm still trying to decide whether i want a 360 or not. Saw that they're selling preowned and refurbishes 360's with 1 year guarantee.

Anyone bought one? Had any problems with it?

I'm guessing the person who had that refurbished one before might have had a problem with it at some point. ;)

I think you'd be OK though and if it comes with a years warranty then thats bettern than the 3 months that you get with a new one.

The only reason why I would buy a 2nd hand console from GAME would be if they offered an extra 12month gaurantee, as there prices are way over the odds, other than that I would get one from boards or buy and sell.

I know that the premiums are 379e with 75e of store vouchers

I think they were €50 cheaper than a new one to be honest. Not much of a saving so thats why i would nearly be tempted to get a brand spanking new one.

Just bought a preowned premium 360 from gamestop. €400 with a used game, I got oblivion. Works fine so far. Got a decent deal on trading in my ps2. €192 for the old model with 21 games (most rubbish, sold the good ones to my friends before I traded in), 3 controllers and a network adapter. Was trying to sell that lot on adverts.ie (with an extra unofficial controller and multitap gamestop wouldn't take) for €225 but the best offer I got was €100.

The 360 also came with a free media remote, because that was included in the original pack. Comes with a 12 month warranty as well. Only problem was I bought a second used wireless controller off them for €40 and it doesn't work. When I turn it on, it just doesn't register with the console. Have to take that back.

Did you press the connect button on both the console and the controller?

I got mine off cd-wow and was an asian version with asian instructions, so took me a long time to figure out there was a connect button on the 360 as well!

Cheers just got this working, didn't realise there was a connect button on the controller. The other controller and remote I have just worked when I turned them on.
