Does the legality of the use of force ever get covered in MA/RBSD classes?

I read an e-book Boru wrote on this stuff, Use of Force. It deals with the details of all of that kind of stuff. Ask him. :)

    Thanks for the plug Miles!:D

Miles is quite right though, I did do an e-book discussing Use of Force, the Law and Self Defence. You can download it from my hideously americanised site while it's still there, before I tear the whiole thing down and start again.

You can get it at www.self-defence-ireland.com

As regards teaching of legality of the use of force it's all I seem to do in Reality Based Personal Protection. An understanding of the law and the nature of conflict is taught in all my seminars and classes, but with particular focus in Crime Surivival. Here we look at the Use of Force Ladder, the colors of conflict and the we even do courtroom surival where we put you in the witness box and cross examine you. You can see video footage of that in the ebook as well.

Check it out and if you have anymore questions feel free to post them here or pm me.

    Hope this helps,
