Any of you guys following this guy on You Tube, LINK I think he is brilliant and is such a hit on you tube in the past week. The poor guy is being hounded by the media, they reported about him on Fox yesterday, but i think all the news media are talking about him. He has had half a million views in just one week! nearly 18,000 subscribers also.

Not sure why he is such a hit, but I find his life stories really interesting for some reason. And obviously so do the rest of you tube users!

    What do you guys think?

Have seen this before. Thought it was funny and all but quite overhyped.

    No doubt.

A lovely old gent, however. I was touched by his show of emotion when he realised he had become the latest internet fad.

Funny how a lonely man's fleeting interest can captivate the world. As a Sunday newspaper might put it, it happens every day.

I seen him on the main youtube page 2 days ago , gave it a watch and fair play to him .. getting out there on the net and stuff . Most of us know what it like trying to show the folks and old people how to master a computer let alone uploding a vid to the net !!

I can see why its so popular. A total break from the norm and he seems to be quite a genuine type of person.

Still though I think I'd rather watch paint dry.

Just saw this last night and although can't see what all the fuss is about there probably isn't too many of his generation getting in on the internet. FAir play to him. probably lonely and anything that can cheer him up and make him feel good about himself has to be good. Might be a benefit to a lot of older people living on their own with no other contact with the outside world!

I predicted something like this would happen a couple of months ago! Though I thought it would not happen for a least another 15-20 years. For instance this OAP is a widower, lives alone so the interweb can give him a sense of having company. However, 15-20 years there will be alot more of them on the web and fair play to them - even if geriatric is a boring ****e! :p

How does he rate against filthywhore and morbeck?

Yeah I've been watching him..watched 2, 3 and 4 of his ''Telling it all'' life story. I logged on the other day and he was on 6. Didn't bother watching them though.

I thought it was funny though, in one of the comments someone said ''imagine he just died in the middle of it'' :D

What have the media been saying about him??

Thats brilliant, i know its terrible but I just had to laugh! But the morbid thing about that is, someone would have to upload it for him on you tube as he obviously couldn't anymore!! Maybe the paramedics or the coroner would do that!

Not too interesting, but a LOT less annoying than bowiechick et al.

Its great to see an elderly man like himself using the power of the internet to communcate. Its refreshing to say to the least :)

I think Youtube videos that begin with "RE:" are the least interesting things in the world.
The old guy on the other hand; fairplay to him.

saw it before. interesting enough, but at least he's better then that horrendous waste of space "brookie" or "brookers" or whatever... god she annoys the crap out me of.

seen a bit of that clip pretty good

But the one I really love is the "hey clip" made by the two Israeli girls, its worth a look
its like the the feeder video with the two of them doing it in their bedroom but
much better. They have a really interesting style, one of them studies video editing and she is very talented
its like on the top ten most watched, they have become really good.

just got into the you tube craze a while ago, absolutely brillant, much better than the chatrooms, boards or even email
