cant find drivers

    Hey guys,

    I just reinstalled windows on my mates pc but we cant find the drivers for the sound. The mobo's make is Canyon. Any help would be grateful.

    Not that hard to be honest really.
    On the board there should be a Board model number. Get that, google it and get the specifications.
    Then go onto the canyon site, http://www.canyon-tech.com/ ? and should be able to find driver downloads in a support section, other wise you should find them on google.
    If that fails you can start looking at the chips on the board and you might see the sound driver with serial numbers..

    edit: that site is useless, sure thats the make of the board?

    download sisoft sandra to find out your full system specs. It will help us determine what mobo you have.

    Most software wont find a device name without a driver installed ie it will just say Multimedia or Sound Codec thingy. Sandra will give you mobo name so will www.belarc.com

    Mobo name and number is the way to go.

    Google that and find out who made it, more than likley itrs a realtek ac97 just guessing tho :D
