I'm thinking of going to Las Vegas for a boxing match in a few months time and I was just wondering if anyone knew how best to go about booking flights.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Theres a sticky at the top of this forum with online travel agencies.

If you are going to be there for a week or so,then you could try one of the online travel agents (email them) as they may have some discounted ticket which they are allowed sell only when bundled with accomadation.

I've booked some flights to Vegas, not sure about from Ireland, but from England there's only one airline that does direct flights to Vegas and they're £200-£300 dearer than indirect ones... for me, the couple of extra hours I'll be in the air wasn't worth the extra money so I'm flying indirect.
I also found that when booking, its quite a bit cheaper to fly/stay in Vegas during the week then at the weekend so bear that in mind when you're looking at dates... rather fly mid-week to mid-week than weekend to weekend if that suits.
I booked my flights with ebookers which seemed to have the equivalent/best prices for hotel + flight packages, and basically just tried out a load of different dates to find the cheapest option.
