Java - capture sound

I already have an app that can capture sound from the microphone, but I want to be able to in addition to that capture sound from the 'wav/mp3 channel' that is used by many programs to play sounds.

essentially, I want to be able to capture the microphone, and the sounds on the computer, and merge the two into one.

    Is this possible with Java?

I think I've got all I'm going to get out of that particular website. It helped me get started, but not much more.

I might have to go on the look out for a java sound specific forum or similar.

JMF should do it, haven't used it in years but it can record from most sources
