    Arveene Biog

Having grown up in and around the music industry Arveene is one of Europe's most talented and prodigious DJs. Combining booty shakin' electro with anything from ragga, classic hip-hop, dirty house & the funkiest techno Arveene started rockin' clubs like Dublin's POD and Kitchen when he was just 16.

Known for his versatility to break down any genre barrier, Arveene has blown the techno roof off fanatical clubs like the Pod & ably supported hip-hop legends like DJ Premier. Appearances at the uber cool Sonar festival in Barcelona,Hi Fi South in the Uk, a residency at Darren Emersons Underwater partys at the End(London), a residency at at the Lock Tavern - London, a short tour with Nightmares on Wax in the UK have all proved his recognition internationally. He is the official Irish tour DJ for his buddy DJ Ease's seminal Nightmares on Wax outfit; has supported & is hugely respected by artists like Erol Alkan, Groove Armada, Switch , X-press 2, David Holmes & many, many more. Most recently Liam Howlett asked him to tour with The Prodigy, Erol Alkan booked him to play at Bugged Out London and he rocked a crowd of over 15,000 people on the main stage at Hi Fi Ireland..

During the summer of 2000 Arveene took part in the annual international music conference, "The Red Bull Music Academy". He is now the Irish representative for the Red Bull Music Academy & went on to shoot a pilot documentary in Brazil as presenter & consultant for the 2002 conference. He has also appeared as a presenter in the official RTE documentary of the Festival of World Cultures, which was held in Dun laoghaire 2005.
