When I click on a thread from the New Posts list, it opens in a 'not logged in' format. Is this intentional, or can it be fixed easily?

It could be that the URL becomes different and boards will interpret this as not logged in. Log out and try again, this time using www.boards.ie to log in again.

That worked, thanks. I was logged in under http://boards.ie - when I changed to http://www.boards.ie it works fine.
