Could anyone recommend a college/training company in Dublin where I could get evening training in Microsoft 2000/2003 admin...... MCSE / MCSA type stuff. Would have to be evenings. Cost is a consideration for me as I would be paying for this myself.

I've actually been recently looking for something similar.
Don't know where you're based but have a look at Dorset college www.dorset-college.ie

another way might be in a bootcamp style but this does mean doing during the day..so this might not be a runner..

Moresoft www.moresoft.ie do a MCSE accelerated course. €2300 which includes "20 days of Instructor Led Training (ILT) spread over a four month period i.e. one week of ILT per month. This is then complemented by exam mentoring via telephone and email during the non-ILT weeks. (A mutually agreeable timeslot is set up by the trainer and the participant, the phone conversation is 15 minutes per evening Monday, Wednesday and Friday.)". Exam fees included, delivered by MCT, certified course materials & manuals, lunch, & refreshments..

might be an option for some..

For both of you, FAS are providing grants of 60% on MCSE courses for small businesses.

You should definatly look into it. (Get a friend with a business to apply for you aren't working)

Also remember that a lot of courses dont include Exam fees thats 7x€150 all going well..

New Horizon's training in Dublin city centre are offering FAS-subsidised MCSE and MCSA courses. Also individual MCP's. Cost of doing an MCSA is now down to less than two grand and that includes the Microsoft courseware an the exam fee. Thats the best offer I've ever seen. Ciara is the contact there and she's has everything detailed in an email she can send to you. Its not just for business either- individuals can also apply. They're also offering the same deal for various security certifications, Certified Ethical Hacker and Computer Forensics, that sort of thing.
