3pay replacement SIM charge!

I damaged my 3pay sim card when I was trying to 'adapt' it to fit a twinsim holder so I could use my phone with my meteor sim as well. Now 3 Ireland say that their sim replacement charge is €27.50 which seems a mad price. Anyone else been charged this by their network for a replacement sim?

    Thx

    Mrblack

Not sure about 3 but I always thought that the first replacement was free but they charge for anymore that you may have to get.

Generally networks give you your first one free, and they generally give you a free sim replacement if it's a faulty sim.
I know Vod charged me 20something to replace mine on billpay.
Not that unusual. One of the ways they make money. 3 are awful for charges like that.

if you loose your phone wit 3 they charge you €50 for a new phone + sim. Probably so expensive since your only getting 1. Cud try porting to vodafone for nothing and den back to 3pay straight away (or is der a period you have 2 wait)

    Hope this helps
