    Comments on all streets please:

    Hand 1:

    I have 535

    I open for 14 with

    TdJsQcKd

    2 callers

    Flop (46)

    Js6d9s

I bet 46. Villain 1, PlanX goes allin for 185. SB folds. I call.

    Hand 2:

    I've 431 and cover everyone

I'm dealt AKQQ on the button and make it 22 after everyone limps. 5 callers.

    Flop (110)

    Kd2d4s

Checked to me and I bet 70. Villain (quillius) pushes for an extra 130. I call.

    Edit:

    Hand 3:

    I have 341

I make it 14 on the button with 9TJQds (done this lots of times). A guy who's getting annoyed with this reppots it to 48. I put him all in for another 100.

As an aside, how do I put in the pictures like those on 2+2?

I tend not to be as aggressive but I would say that in the second hand you pot committed yourself. And thats a nasty looking flush draw.
In the first hand, again you pretty much committed yourself but you have plenty of outs. I guess he had trip nines or flush and low draws? I wouldn't be bothered about losing the first hand but would have thought i played the second too hard.

again, I grind rather than attack so my imput isn't much use.

did you use those KEM cards yet Ian? they're actually 20 years old! older than some of the posters here!

as for hand three I think I'm on safe ground saying that the mathematical answer has got to be 'yeah, sure why not'... although u can forget about the flush of course. so did u win with a flush?

    same.

I still dont like either of these. In the 1st, he prob has a similar straight draw as yours, not as good but with a flush draw or a set to boot so hes almost free rolling.

2nd hand I cant see you being ahead. With 5 players seeing a flop, what hands does the raiser put you on that he thinks he can beat? do you put him on a flush draw semibluff? If you fold your contiuation bets often, maybe he thinks he has the folding equity

What do yu have in the 3rd one

44 with Axd or he has the same hand as you but with a fd.

Preflop is unclear. If the I limp in the CO and you raise it on the button and theres 3 callers, I'll call with alot of garbage because the huge pot odds and im closing the betting

    ...im no omaha player

so Ian, how did you get on with those hands?

Hand 1: prolly a call getting ~2:1. (what position are u in?)
Hand 2: should be a fold I think (unless you have diamonds)
Hand 3: sure, go for it - I always run into AAxx and it always stands up. Funnily enough, when I have AAxx and get this situation, the QJT9 always wins. I suck at flops.

Hand 1 call, although are the suits correct? Two Js?
Hand 2 if you don't have diamonds, fold, also where did Villain call the 22 from? was he first to call it, or was he one of tha last to call it.
Hand 3 push is ok. If stacks were deeper then call and see what comes on the flop.

First hand is a call. If I was leading I would have checked the flop though and then just called a bet. I am however a total pussy at omaha. It's something to do with losing my whole stack in one move. I have a habit of waiting to see a turn card before I get it all-in.(not correct play probably)

    Second fold

Third call......jesus I really hate omaha sometimes.

As an aside has there ever been a thread as regards pushing aces through in omaha. I'd be intrested to know peoples opinions on it. So many people seem to do it but I just see it as such a gamble, especially in early position where you might get two callers. I always thought that this was a mistake that hold em players made at omaha but it persists up through the levels.

Anyone got some numbers on it????

    Results:

    Hand 1.

He called with AsXs69 and I missed all my outs

    Hand 2:

I had the ace diamonds and he had called from MP.
He showed KT84 no diamonds and I lost (pretty sickening).

    Hand 3:

He showed A557 ds and I hit trip 9s to take the whole pot.

    KT84 ... and A557 ... nice work.

Doc: it doesnt work unless he is annoyed with you, as if he is not annoyed, he always has AA - and if you are me - you always lose to Aces, but you also always lose with Aces. Its pretty sucky. Try being ian, he seems to win.
