    hi all,

i was wondering if anyone could help me out with this.
i am currently looking for a new job but am swaying towards working in foreign lands and was curious to know if anyone has taken that route and how they went about it.

have been looking on the usual sites such as monster etc but maybe i am going down the wrong way cuz i find online sites pretty rubbish. does anyone know any agencies in ireland that recruit for international roles?

i am currently in field sales and would like to stay in this area.

    thanks in advance

FAS offer jobs abroad for engineers, so they may also have something in your area.

    www.jobserve.com

spam various agencies in your field, make it known you want to work aboard. Something will come up.

Ya I'm currently working in Germany... Are you looking for work in just English speaking countries?

Try expats.org.uk for a list of recruitment agencies in whatever field you wish to work in.

First of all find out where you want to go... research is the key, if you even manage to get a job interview while you're still living in Ireland, then the first things you'll be asked are where are you going to live/stay, it helps to know even a small bit about the geographical area, commute times, rental rates etc.
If you find a city/country that has a lot of jobs in the area you like then you could always just save up a bit of cash and move. Bank accounts, national insurance, etc. are impossible to setup without having a fixed mailing address, plus the last thing you want is to not get paid for a while :)
Save enough for a couple of months rent and food, and badger the recruitment agents like mad, you'll eventually get something that you'll like.

http://www.jobserve.com and http://cwjobs.co.uk are the best bets for IT work.
