Easy question for all you experts... probably...

    Heads up - him ~750k; me ~220k.
    Blinds 15k/30k; Antes 4k.

We knock heads back an forth, stacks remaining as described, no hands being shown.

He calls with QJ os, I go all in with 99, flop 832, he catches Q on turn.
Came second saying to myself I did all I could.

However, thinking about it later should I have taken the chance on the flop, and decide from there?
The 832 was perfect for the 99 and he probably won't call an all in there.
If picture cards came on the flop I could get away to fight on.

Or is there even another way to play this hand?

Getting him to call your push is the hard part, you were just unlucky to lose the race. With 5.5 BB there's not much more you could've done.

You played the hand grand, lost a race, so be it.

Its easy to consider the what ifs when one loses a race.Think of it this way. If the flop came down A,K or T high you're still ahead but you dont know it.If you check and let him have free cards then that'll be the worse play so in hindsight what you did was correct.
