XP Pro (SP2 etc)... upon booting up or restarting, it always likes to hang for a minute on the blue Welcome page. Then the Desktop appears fine. It has always baffled me...

Deleting your mp3 files, clearing your porn cache and giving your iPod to charity will solve it. Its a well known issue.

There is a program or service causing a small delay when its starting up. Without knowing anything, its impossible to say what.

    O_o wtf?

I figured that's what it could be. I've changed so many start-up registry keys in Spybot none of them had any effect! I thought perhaps some one might know something most of us don't!

    Try bootvis?

Otherwise, old-fashioned trial and error using msconfig.
