    Piece of legislation going through the oireachtas that seeks to "tidy" up the legislation in a certain area by havine all the provisions in one act instead of spread over many over several years. Attorney General certifies that it doesn't change the law but merely consolidates whats already there so it passes the oireachtas by a quicker procedure. Examples include the Social Welfare Consolidation Act (1993 I think), and the Taxes Condolidation Act 1997
