Music plays fast on me computer

    Not sure if this is the right form but When I try to play cd's or mp3's on my computer they play at double speed, sounds like the chipmonks...

    Anyone have any ideas, Ive tried a couple of players...

    What software are you using to play them?

    Tried loads,

    Winamp, music match and of course mediaplayer

    I know Windows Media Player has a "Play Speed" option under the Play menu. Should be set to normal obviously. :)

    i had this before. it was caused because of a dodgy codec pack i got to watch some er .........

    installing the newest ffdshow codec fixed it for me :)
