    Hey people

Where is everyone planning on going tonight?
I'm torn between the fitz and the Jackpot.

Both are double chance tourneys, The fitz being 50+5 and the jackpot being 100+10.

1st ive heard of this jackpot place..i normally play the fitz double chance but i have noticed over the last while alot more pub players playing in this tourney and the other double chance in the sporting.it is the next logical move from pub play to a 50 euro double chance which is what the casino wants to not the poker player there to win.

How many runners in the jackpot.I like the sound of it.price is right to push out the crap and attract a good standard.

jetlag... bah! nothing a few judiciously timed Coronas in the course of the evening won't conquer.

wp whitenight - didn't know that was you! thought you played well - don't remember u getting lucky! the last hand i saw was you AA vs JJ!

I played some good poker until the FT where Snowy fcuked up my game by moving all in whenever i raised:rolleyes: I lost 25k to those moves. I think I was behind on all 3 re-steals though. I patiently survived on 40k for quite some time with absolute muck until i eventually blew up and went fishing with KQs. Button limped, I completed SB for 4k with KQs and BB (Galway Mick) threw in an oversized bet to take it there. At the time I actually figured my KQ was good... he had A2. Why I didn't push from the SB I'll never know.

Yeah tbh you looked jaded just after the break when i joined your table momentarily so I dunno how you stayed awake (with massive chip stack) until FT. I had JJ that time I reraised your 55.

I was lucky early on the first table when I turned a straight when a 10 hit with KQd all in preflop against A10d and 88. Then the next hand I played KK badly against Liam Flood. I raised to 1200 after folded to me on button with blinds 150/300 and liam called on BB. Flop comes A108, check, check .. turn Q i check he bets out about 3.5k I reraise all in and he calls with Q10. In all honesty I had put him on KQ (2 poor reads i know!). Thinking about it now I had 12 outs, I think, after the chips went in and seeing the cards and luckily I spike a K to cripple him and put me on 23k. Also with hindsight, the way the hand played out was the only way all the chips were getting in the middle. If I had of flat called his raise on the turn and the K spiked, it would have slowed both of us down with a scary board and flush draw on the river too.

I had come to the FT with 40k (56k avg -) as I had lost a 16k pot to a shortstacks all in with A3 vs my 99 when we were on the bubble and he rivers his Ace, below average but blinds were 1k/2k so I knew I need to make a move. The 2nd hand in and Dave Masters who was also short about 35k raised to 6 if i remember right and I raised to 18k with 1010 and he pushed and turned over AQo and my 10s held up. That put me about average stack and with 30 min blinds and with the muck that was dealt to me for at least 1 30 minute level I sat there folding like an Origami master :D

I think both snowy and mick got themselves on tilt a little as snowy at one stage had 200k+ with 7/8 left.

4 handed, I checked raised allin a 20k bet from Fillipo (think thats his name) on a flop of 567rainbow after he had raised 15k from his BB (my SB). The raise was only 38k more and with and with 117k in the pot He agonised over it as he was clearly getting the odds but he had 60k behind and decided to fold. The main reason (very suprising to me!) that he folded was he somehow picked up that I was a rock  and ended up commenting on it on any hand I played while sitting beside me on the FT  .. No idea where he got that from! I showed him one card - the 7h and he made up his mind I had another!!

Was happy with my FT play up until 1 stupid hand and even after the hand I thought I played solid again. The AA vs JJ (natalie aka the 1 and only true ROCK) doubled me up and when Niall got knocked out we were 4 handed and I was playing well, taking pots without showing cards and ahead whenever i did. My downfall was this 1 stupid hand ... I had 33 on BB and my SB (chris I think his name?) was raising my BB EVERY single time and I decided to play back. The last 2 times I seen him all in were A7 vs snowys AK hitting the 7 and AJ next time being ahead. Blinds 3k/6k this was about the 10th time he had raised 15-20k he had 160k i had 200k roughly with 508k in play and the other 2 had level stacks around 70k each ... He raised to 20k I put him on Ax and I pushed thinking he would lay it down as he was comfortable 2nd but he woke up with AA and crippled me to 4th and feeling sick. Was my only mistake at the FT imo.

After that I doubled up twice with mick's A2 all-in no match for my A9. Ended up 2k, 1.3k and 1.2k and I will definitely be a regular for this tourney as it gives rocks like me loads of time to "find" a hand :D Hope Im building a good table image :p

Hmm best hand i saw all night :D hehe

What did u think of that move snowy pulled on you? Do you think he saw his cards first?!!

i have no idea lol.. he moved all in on me twice previously in the tournament, and showed me the nuts both times.

At the FT, when he did it first I had QQ in the BB. I put him on AA.. in hindsight it was a stupid fold. He was obviously using his image against me there.. but still im not sure about that one.

The second time (the one you are talking about i think) I raised to 11k after the other guy limped. I had K9s. I wasn't sure if he had looked at his cards. I wish I'd paid more attention. I really considered calling him.. he totally messed up my game.

I was knackered all tourny, was ready for bed by the second level!!
