microphone recommendations...

    i've set up a skype video link between here and relatives in america. Everything went smoothly however i've a crappy microphone that you must literally be on top of in order for it to pick up your voice.

    everyone keeps talking in the background, expecting to be heard about 5 feet away :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

    so is there a cheap conference type microphone i could stick on the desk and it could pick up everyone?

    a range of about 5 feet would be nice, the higher the better.
