    Hi,
    I was looking at the Antec Sonata II case on Komplett and I noticed that it says that this case isn't compatible with "Epox 9NPA+ Ultra Motherboards". What does this mean exactly? Is this case compatible with Conroe compatible motherboards?

    Thanks
    Pa

    :confused::confused:
    It means exactly what it says. If you have a Epox 9NPA+ it won't fit.

    Lads is the PSU on this powerful enough for the latest Cards and DX10 cards ... is there any indication that DX10 are going to be draining alot of watts. I wont be SLI'ing or overclocking.

    Bit on the low side (450w if i'm correct). I'd go 500-600W. You can always use a PSU Calc to work out your needs. There's one in the website sticky.

    no one knows what the requirements for DX10 cards will be like. The most recent generation of cards have trended slightly down in their requirements over previous cards but this may or hold for DX10. Best guess would be that they will go up again and then fall slightly with 2nd gen DX10 cards as the archetectures evolve.

    450W of good power is fine; hell, you could run most (non-OC) rigs on 350W if you wanted.

    Thats what I was thinkin and I hear that 450W in the sonta is great power.

    Antec power supplies are rock solid, Unless you plan on SLI or a heavily overclocked Pentium 8xx I wouldn't even consider worrying.

    "Bigger is better" mentality has everyone thinking they need some friggin ridiculous 1100 watt power supply to run their 200watts of equipment "faster" or "better" or "bigger e-penis" or something.
