Only the normal restrictions apply to any flights ex Dublin (or Cork/Shannon) unless travelling to the UK or USA.

So you CAN bring your MP3 player, laptop (best not bring a Dell though ;)), psp, mobile phone, electronic key or whatever

Are Ryanair charging for putting the luggage into the hold now?

They said they were waiving the baggage charge for the duration of the ban on handluggage, so presumably, given that the restrictions are being lifted in the UK, the charges will be reinstated.

I was checking out the BA website and apparantly NO liquids or gels are allowed in the cabin - how the hell are families with babies going to manage - bottles, nappy changing toiletries etc??? I don't know - soon restrictions on flying will make air travel prohibitive to just about everyone.

Went to newcastle with my bro yesterday morning, flew with ryanair. He had his digital camera stolen from his checked-in baggage. There seems to be a surge of baggage theft since the disruptions last thursday so be careful what you put in your luggage and keep small expensive items like digital cameras, MP3 players etc with you ie carry them in your hand luggage.
