    Hi there
My brother has an apple tree in his yard that is laden down with apples this year that will probalby just go to waste (not big on eating apples in his place then......).

Anyway hes been asking me how to make cider from the apples but I have never made cider from apples before - only from the kits.

    Anyone got any recipes?
    Or a big apple crusher?

    This seems very complicated

The traditional method would be something like this:

When the apples have fallen from the trees, collect them (including any bruised ones), and press them. Make sure you do not wash them first. There will be a naturally occuring yeast on the skin. Put into containers until next spring. Crack them open and drink.

    Alternatively try this link

The biggest drawback is getting your hands on a fruit press. You would take until christmas with a juicer.
