Check the booking system at 8am, that's when cancellations and slots provisionally reserved for retests are released back into the system.

tried this morning with no joy. I assume if a cancellation pops up you would have to bring the car down that day?

My booking was 5 weeks past the renewal date, a Guard had stopped me and didnt seem too bothered about it.
