    Slideshow on dvd from image files (jpg)


    I have a number of image files (jpg) on my pc, that I need to create a slideshow on dvd, so that when I put dvd in dvd player my image files are dispalyed as a slideshow. Any ideas or free software

    iMovie will do the job if you have a Mac!

    Seriously, people, if you buy a computer for domestic use the Mac is the business. All the software you would need is supplied with the machine. ;)

    Do you you have a copy of Nero as that program has the capability to make slideshow DVDs ?

    If so you'll find it within the Nero Vision application for making DVD's just select slideshow & then the type of media format.

    Don't know of any fee software myself the only other slide-show program I've used is VSO Softwares PhotoDVD program but it is a commercial application but I found easier to use than Nero's.

    you could download a trial version of nero 7 from nero.com.....that will do it for you, in fact ive just done it myself there now!!

    dvd-slideshow is ideal for this if you're running Linux.

    Nero 6 reloaded will do a great job, you can add backing music aswell. I've created loads of dvds for friends, relatives etc. It's a great way of sharing pics and home movies. A well known website charges £25 to put 40 pics on a dvd with music!!:eek:
