If you are receiving errors such as:
you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

    1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
Then it could be due to the search function not working

If you are trying to "view new posts" by yourself or another user then this is not possible at the moment. Due to various technical issues the advanced search function is disabled for users (other than mods and subscribers at time of writing). The Board Tracker search is still available at the menu on the top of your browser window (next to log out and quick links).

The advanced search function is a valuable tool to all at boards so please don't think that we don't want anyone to use it. It will be back up and running when all the technical issues are sorted out.

In the mean time there are a few threads on the feedback forum concerning the search function. Here and here.

Did you notice that the new BoardTracker search has "Search options"? including search by User and specific forum search (and related search?) :D
