    Hi there

Finally had a chance to use my sealife camera.
Now this is a camara that has been slagged of on many boards for poor poor battery life, functionality, leaking case, slow shuttertime etc

The only point I can slightly agree on is the battery life but all around its a great camera, both above and below sealevel.

I own(ed) a sony P100 as well and eventhough its a nice camera, sony has the nasty habbit of dicontinuing products rather rapidly (7 months) and there is no way you can get parts or periphials for it. Appart from that I think the camera is slightly overpriced ( At €360 (Tax free at airport NY) Housing €300 (last one avail in ireland , not to mention strobes flashes etc which I never got around to buy.

Now in all honousty there are probably good SLR's around there that do a better job, but you pay a hefty price for those as well.

For someone photographing outdoors I think the sealife is absolutely great.
(One does not have to dive to use the casing. Its great to have outside in irish weather conditions, especialy due to the adjustable internal flash, and extensive preprogrammed white- balance settings.

here are some first time use examples while playing around with settings:
    Above Sealevel
    Below Sealevel
