It's throwing an error when I click on the download link. Complaining that Windows Media player doesn't recognise the format???

The first podcast played fine in Media player. Any suggestions?

    Cheers

Yeah I have noticed a problem playing it in Windows Media Player. We'll try and fix that but for now I would suggest that you right-click and save it to your hard drive then use real player or vlc media player (possibly the most versatile media player out there) as it plays fine in those 2.

I am uploading a version that will work in WMP so if you must use it then wait 30 minutes and the new version should be there.

Got it working in VLC (Thanks to your brilliant advertising ;) )

    Cheers.

Good stuff. Still need to get it working in WMP for our huge world wide audience :)

    * edit: new version up (half the size almost, and sounds as good - 20MB approx.)

Just listened to it there, the original worked grand on winamp by the way.

I thought the chat at the end about commiting your chips at the start of the tournement was fairly interesting, and maybe you could bring this up with some of your future guests.

    Good interview lads.

Couple of things though, Nicky audio was pretty poor couldnt really hear him properly.

I thought it was an interesting point Nicky made about taking a race early in a tourney as even though its a 50/50 its worth it because of the value of a big stack early.

Allthough I have to say I completely disagree with what the lads where saying about playing tight in a deepstack long blind tourney as a strategy. I am in as many pots as possible early in a deepstack tournament trying to set mine and accumulate chips early. Ollie makes a point that a 10k chips and 1 hour clock lets you play tight but it more importantly allows you to see loads of flops early without ever getting in trouble stackwise I think this is by far the most important advantage of a long structure.

Brian have you ever seen Noel Furlong play? lol never put his stack at risk!!!!! lmfao I'd be surprised if he wasnt all in at some point in every level of the tournament thats how he won it through absolutely relentless aggression :D

I would suggest next episode with wsop champs NCFCRob, Roundtower and the Nuts talking about the Vegas experience?

Believe me Dave is magician of an editor. It's better than it was originally.

I've played with Noel a few times but as usual I think I made the point badly. I think it's more about not doing anything too stupid early. I totally agree with you on seeing more flops cheaply etc. It's what alot of the guys have been saying about the main event.

    Way ahead of you :)

I think it depends entirely on who's at my table. Everyone knows you can't bluff an idiot and since so many idiots are playing poker these days playing very tight tends to work better for me. I made the mistake of playing too tight last weekend and never got the chips to go deep. Having said that I'd say if I had played any differently I could have gone out very quickly considering what the dealers were throwing me. I think when it was folded to me in the CO or Button I raised most of the time, but that didn't happen very often. My main reason for playing generally very tight is because there are so many awful awful players out there who will pay you off anyway even if you haven't played a hand in two hours. Just watch KPNuts a.k.a "the immovable" object when he's got aces. It's sick what people call him with. At the weekend NTlBell, Rob and I witnessed the worst played AQ ever, when he re-re-raised all in on the turn with Ace high giving his opnent about 12-1 to call with flopped a house that was as transparrant as tracing paper!!! Considering this was an event where players were selected for there playing ability that's just really incredible. It beggars belif that anyone could play poker that badly.
