    Trend call house call detected two cookies on my comp.:
    Cookie bluestreak
    Cookie profiling

    Are these dangerous?

    I had them last week too, and they are back again. any idea on how to prevent them? i use Hitman Pro for my anti-spyware.

    Cookies are a string of text used to store Ids and values (literally numbers and text).

    Banner adds use them to track you across sites as a way of profileing for marketing research.

    Regular sites save settings to them like login names, site colours ..........

    Its up to you to decide of you want to remove them or not.
