    What a strange place
    We find ourselves in
    On Sunday morn
    A quest after sin?

    I sought utopia lost
    After too much beer
    Only to find boards' dead
    Without peer cheer.

    A night hung over
    Brain cells die away
    Never to be replaced
    I'm sad to say.

    I babble now words
    From what's left mind
    Into cyber space
    To find my kind.

    Past noon is upon
    The clock ticking there
    Must of fallen asleep
    But who's to care?

    Pull open the frig
    Look into the gloom
    Half-eaten meals
    I now will consume.

    But alas I find
    A glass bottle there
    Its cap's intact
    A sight to bare!

    I pop the lid
    Aroma abounds
    Of stale barley;
    Your face a frown?

    Of nutrition you say
    While I savor foam?
    But it's from hops
    And ancient Rome!

    My spelling flounders
    Has gone bye-bye
    What matter dear
    With brains to fry?

    Utopia was lost
    And now is found
    As I twirl about
    Falling to ground.

    Interesting rhythm.
    I love 'peer cheer'! :)

Thanks. I really have no idea what I am doing when it comes to poetry. Just thought it would be fun.
