I'm just outside the city centre (Kilmainham) and it usually costs between €25- €30.

€20 from the city centre seems realistic as long as there's no traffic at all :-) If you're going from the city centre though, you should probably consider Airlink or Aircoach.

Get the bus. You'd be mad to get a taxi!

Taxi might work out a little cheaper than aircoach if there's 4 or 5 of you.

11.30 for normal busses, but there are also Nitelinks (I'm not sure if they go to the airport terminus or just to the gate).

Or you could get the metro. ;)

The 33N (nitelink) stops on the arrival road.

    12.30am, 2am, 3.30am from D'olier Street

DEpending on what time of day your travelling to the airport.

During rush hour a taxi from the city center will be expensive, ie approx €20-€25. Get it off the street or from a rank. Each additional passenger will cost 50cent and luggage will cost 50cent each to a maximum of two cases. You can't be charged for back packs or sports bags!.

If there's a few of you and its quiet you shouldn't pay more than €15.

Btw, a shared fare will work out cheaper in a taxi than paying individually on the bus IMO.

The OP already indicated he would be travelling some time after 23:00 and before 05:00.

Yea, well I was giving out general information on taxi pricing. Since bus's are not an option for him well a taxi shouldn't cost more than about €15 from the city centre, cluding extra's like passengers and luggage.
