    hi boards poker heads,
i have just won a 5k dollar ticket for the following event on pokerroom
    https://www.pokerroom.com/main/page/promotions/pokerClassic
qualified via a 50 buck game last nite and won of six 5k tickets in the 300 buck qualifier tonight. Moniker: haroldsxxx
as I am actually fairly new to this, wondering if there is any market for selling this ticket to a more experienced player. Is this done?
    thanks for advising
    StanB

It is done but... you may not be allowed to sell the ticket.

Sometimes what people do if they dont think they have a hope in hell of cashing is offering for a more experienced tourney player to play on your account with your ticket and split the winnings (if any) between both parties, but make sure you come to an arrangement about the division of winning before hand.

It looks as iff there's only going to be 45 players in the main event? And they'll all be online qualifiers, so who's to say they'll be considerably better than you? My advice is play the event - and get as much live experience as you can between now and then.

Also, you're not stanbowles off thumped are you?

I know loads of players looking to get there hands on these tickets and if you have made the last 45, your already in the money. This is meant to be a massive event, you would be mad to miss it.

the thing is: this 5k ticket is just for another online qualifier to the 5million dollar live event in Barcelona. They don't specify how many qualifiers there will be for the online final but I guess, logically, it should be 1000 to 1100 to justify the final prizemoney. Forty five from the above will qualify for the live event and will all be prized up ... the rest I guess, ie those who do not figure in the last 45, will go home emptyhanded, though I have the impression that Pokerroom have yet to finalise all arrrangements.

    Stan
