error in verifying AVG electronic certificate

    can't update AVG or open the virus vault because of this error. How do I fix the problem?

    Checked firewall settings?
    What version,OS, etc.?

    Have you tried re-installing AVG?

    If a quick reinstall fails: uininstall AVG, delete temp files, and use crap cleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/) to clean out refrences in the Windows Registry. Reboot. Download and install the latest version of AVG.

    Post up a screenshot if you can, it will help. I have had problems updating AVG before.
