carefull about spoilers in this thread. the videos i have posted are suitable for IRL viewers, but if you're going to post up a youtube video that is yet to be shown in RTEland then use the spoiler tags

The guys a legend and this thread had to be started...it's science baby. Robert Knepper is the actor who plays Tbag btw and I have a little bit of a fancy for his lingusitic skills and his acting in general while he "does" Tbag

    His Wiki

Which contains a bit of background info

    His IMDB
Which isn't showing anything besides from Prison Break for 2006/2007  Why????

    Robert Knepper speaks about T-bag
This is a youtube clip. It's very interesting, he talks about how he likes to portray animals in his acting. The guy is a genius. There is another clip on the fox webiste. It's about a 5 minute "walking" interview with TBag while on set. Pretty cool stuff again.

TBag Kicking with Bob...Talkin' about women

Check out his lips in this clip if you've already watched the above clip. And he even does a 'giggity giggity' type thing ala Quagmire from Family Guy! Classic

That's it for now folks! Youtube has a load of videos on him..Enjoy

    And the quotes...oh the quotes...

Agreed. It will be a sad sad day if they ever decide to get rid of his character on that show.
I love that he doesn't play the character in a creepy, evil way, even though T-Bag is creepy and evil.

he has got a bit of a sensitive side too. He cried like a bitch when his pocket tuggin' mistress got knifed in episode 2 or 3.

    Yup and when
Abruzzi got his cousin & nephew killed
    .
Can't wait to see what happens to him in series 2

    yup, that two!

i'm surprised so many people are still against him...hopefully in the next few episodes they will turn to the bright side and embrace tbag like the cuddily toy that he is

I saw this thread on the front page and immediately knew you had started it Rollo :D

One thing I really like about him is that swagger of his - it shows utter confidence and disregard for anyone beneath him (which is everyone). That confidence comes across brilliantly in his voice too - he might be evil but it doesn't bother him because he loves being himself. What a great guy.

You've got to hand it to Knepper, he plays T-bag very well ¬_¬

thanks ixoy, tbag is 'just as pretty as advertised'
    he's a handsome devil too

his swagger is the balls, very snake like as he mentioned in that video clip

T-Bag appreciation thread started by Rollo? Never would have guessed!

But agree with everything so far - Robert Knepper plays Theodore to a T! (ha ha.. see what i did there).

Truly excellent character... and i'd imagine it is difficult to make someone as creepy as T-Bag so watchable.

Anyone else notice this was Boards.ie Thread Of The Day (August 13th)? :D

Great character, a role which Robert Knepper makes his own. You have to love his complete disregard for everyone, he's such a self-centered bastard.
    Get on the train!

He is by far my favourite character. Has been since the start as he does the best job of portraying his character compared to all the others

He is an incredible character and the actor is fantastic. I don't understand how he isn't up for any awards. For me he is the outstanding actor in the last year of TV

Yeah he is a genius of an actor. I liked tbag from the start and he was acted so well that I felt like he was misunderstood even though he is a crazy sicko.

loved his scitzo cameo in tonights epsiode. Showed a real turn to the darkside.

"That gurl's being tuggin' on too many pocketz"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,589 ✭✭✭✭Necronomicon

Yeah, I really liked his little speech about 'coming home' in tonight's episode when that woman Susan was visiting him.
"And don't think I'll forget what your front steps look like."

    Very cool.

    from tonights two IRL episodes:
"looks like the bank of africa was refusing withdrawls"
    "oh! a full house...now that's a concept a mexican knows all about"
    "doubly dueses"
"what is this? the A-train, everyone gets a rid"

the way he spilled all that milk at the table as well. Class!

Absolute class actor , definitely the best actor in the show , he's so repulsive yet you cant help feeling sorry for him as well when you look at some of the wooden acting in the show he stands out by a mile
