    AFAIK it's an seperate GPS being develeoped by Europe to make us independent of the current US controlled system.

    I saw one of these for sale in Kilkenny. Nice looking thing but uses Teleatlas - so almost useless for most of Ireland. The mapping is the same as what tomtom uses, which really is poor when it comes to our shores.

    I would suggest any GPS that uses Navteq mapping over Teleatlas any day of the week if it needs to be used in Ireland.
