I'd say send it in, theyd hardly still be selling them if it wasnt eligible for inclusion. Or are there also seperate tickets for sale for the new show??

Is it gambling to buy those scratch cards? Because you're not really betting on anything, youre giving money to a charity (Lotter is a charity I think?) in the hope that you might get to go on TV and win stuff. Hmmm....

Yes, you can send them in now. As long as they are not too old, as they sometimes announce in the press that a certain scratchcard is closing, and you have 90 days to claim.

Winning Streak cards will not be entered into a Fame and fortune draw and last years winning streak will not be entered into the new winning streak draws which will be back in a week or two. (Fame and Fortune is finished for this year)

So save your 3 x 48c stamps until you actually have 3 star tickets for the new winning streak game starting shortly.

Although some money does go to charity I think its an actual business run by the post office for profit. If its the same as the UK, its just a clause in their licence that states a certain amount must go to charity/projects. In the UK there is only one national lotto licence and that Camelot company have it. Richard Branson made a bid for it, intending to run his lotto business as a 100% non profit organisation, with all incoming money going to charity or used to cover business costs. He didnt get the licence though (presumably Camelot have some good friends in the Labour party who didnt want to see their mates lose their highly profitable licence)

Hate those shows, my granny does watch them religiously, with the tv at about 3 billion decibels while that Derek Mooney eejit hops around the studio hooting and such. I can never get over how laid back some people are when the screen reveals theyve just won 10K. Id be fcuking jumping all over the place, my jaw would drop.

If you get into the drum, but don't get picked for the show, you win €100. 100 people are chosen each week out of all the entries for the drum, so 95 get a cheque in the post, the others play the game. My mom won €100 once. Glad she didn't get the show, being patronised by those jumped up asses would not have gone down well with me, and words would have flown, if not handbags.

OP has his answer, no need to keep this thread running. Remember us poor cretins when spinning that big wheel. :)
