Delivery From Chris.... How Long?

How long does it take? And whats the procedure for customs. Do you pay the delivery guy? Do you have to fill out any forms?

Guitar comes to €816 incl delivery so anyone know what I can expect to pay on top of that?

Usually you pay the delivery guy but it may depend on the particular shipping company being used. AFAICR In my case the shipping company phoned me in advance and asked for my credit card number. I've never had to fill out any forms.

Havent bought it yet but hoping to do so today. Roughly how long did your delivery take?

I only bought some pedals from Chris. AFAICR they took about a week but the box was a lot smaller than a guit obviously.
One guit I bought new took only two days from Nashville to Dublin - that was via FedEx (quite expensive).
I'd allow a week to 10 days.

Cool thanks. Chris emailed me back after my first email. Then he replied to my reply then put me onto his tech guy Martin when I had some questions about tonewoods. Very good response and customer service so far

How long did it take for him to reply to you? I sent him an e-mail about a prs that I'm going to put an offer on and I'd like to have a rough idea

I don't get that stupid big heel at all. At all, at all even.

I have a feeling it'll be what i go for. It's a shame it isn't as pretty as the other one.

It's all about how they play. If you're spending that kind of wedge though you should check out Patrick Eggle. You'll get a guitar at least as good as the PRS but probably considerably cheaper, since they don't have the over-inflated reputation and price tag that comes with the PRS badge. Since they're made in England (and most of them are sold from there) you don't get stung for import duty and VAT when they arrive too.

Thanks for the advice - I do like the look of the Eggles but I'm afraid I have my heart set on the PRS and I've been wanting one for 3 years now. I know that their worth is inflated and to be honest at least that might help the guitar retain its "worth"

lol no worries. My guitar is shipped now anyway so hoping to have it some stage next week with a little luck. I like that McCarty he just put up and not a bad price either
