Anyone see this yet? thought it was a good episode glad this show is back on i heard this episode was a kindoff pre-air that it didnt actually air on us TV last nite and what happened was it was a preview so that the show could be rated for TV to decide what time it should be aired?

Is that right or will the next episode be aired in the US next Monday or Wed?

This is a brilliant show, desperate housewives on another level. It might be more of a chick show than some like, but I find it hilarious.

A bit hungover today and watched the entire first series over the course of the day.

Really really enjoyed it... and my face dropped and i actually dropped "the F bomb" at the final scene of the first season with

THE DEA JACKET!

I think the show's strength is some fantastic acting from most involved. Comedy is quite hit and miss in my opinion though... the first season has some great lines:

Lupita, what's the thing called between the dick and the asshole? The coffee table!

Sitting down to watch episode 1 of Season 2 now.

Weeds is the biz. I'm really impressed as I'm watching it on Sky Three: I'm in a digital freeview area.
I'm really enjoying it, and I recognise many of the actors from other good things.

Its great to see real people on TV, not so many of the bloody clones that are on all the other american TV shows.

What are the chances that 15 or 20 models would have been marooned on a tropical island where they didn't need to wear too many clothes?
Or that all the middle aged housewives on the same street had great abs,m bums, faces etc... and terriffic really built husbands, gardeners etc (truthfully i love this also!)

Don't see that in Castleknock eh? Or maybe you do...? (someone's bound to object to this overgeneralised dis...honestly folks, its not meant as such)

Its top notch stuff - I watched Season 1 in one go and loved every minute. I was on the edge of my seat for most of the five hours it took and nearly swallowed my tongue at the final scene! Bring on Season 2!!

for those that dont know the 1st 3 eisodes have been relased as pre-airs and i have to say im not happy about it.
this is a good show and i dont know if its getting the ratings it deserves with so many downloads of the pre-airs it will efffect the seasons ratings at the start.

also when these pre-airs stop we will have to wait over 3 weeks for another episode and i hate waiting like that

EDIT Episodes 1-4 of season 2 are all now pre-airs

I watched season 2 1-3 tonight and they are alright. I remember the first season being alot funnier. And they changed the singer in the intro, 'little boxes...':D

I wonder when Sky will decide to show the new series. I saw 'Lude Awakenings' last night and it was still laugh out loud funny the second time round. It was the one where Nancy was shot at at the dealers house and CJ from the West Wing is in it.

I actually like the way they're going in that the first 4 had a lot more drama than it ever did in the first series including:

Nancy and Peter getting married
Peter revealing he knows Nancy was a dealer

But also is full of excellent lines from Andy especially - on top form this season.

Oh.. and 'Little Boxes' was changed as they change the singer for the intro in each episode this series. In episode 4, it was sang in French! :eek: Singers included are Engelbert Humperdinck, Ben Gibbard from Death Cab for Cutie and Elvis Costello.

I thought the french singer was funny in episode 4.
its a great show im reley enjoying it as the best "real" comady out there since friends was cancelled

Worst part is we have to wait another month for episode 5

Oh.. and the less we see of Vaneeta and Heylia this season the better!

Every line from Vanetta with the inevitable "cracker white ass" jokes really took the shine off last season... just all done before, incredibly unfunny and something i'd expect to see in a poor sitcom.

So yeah.. let's focus on Conrad and Nancy's dealings rather than Vaneeta and Heylias!

I thought this was going to be about the new season, guess I'm 2 years too late!!

Anyways, poor start to season 4 imo. Not sure where they are trying to take it!
