I ordered a few movies from DVDSOON on the 20th June and the shipping according to the site is 6-8 weeks. I have been looking up the company now on the net and the site seems to be gone now and I'm reading reports that the company is no more. Is anyone else in the same situation as in have ordered stuff of them? Any chance of refunds I wonder or will they honour the orders received?

Contact your credit card company and try to get a chargeback. Explain what happened, what you bought and when and comapny not replying to emails and so on.

You have no hopes getting anything of those cnuts dvd soon, i'm in the process of getting a chargeback against them too. I am in the same position as you mate, all you can really do is just get in contact with your credit card company.

I'm in a similiar situation. I never received an order from them. I contacted them and, as per their sites instructions, faxed a legal form saying I had never received the DVD. Still haven't and clearly won't now.

Actually, check out this site - http://ansuz.sooke.bc.ca/creative/reviews/dvdsoon.php - with a long list of complaints and people who've been ripped off for many thousands of dollars. There's people crying for investigations into DVDSoon and looking to take legal action.

Jaysus surprised people were still using them after all the "issues" last year. A pack of total crooks.

I'm in the same position. I ordered about 200 euros worth of stuff a few weeks back and never recieved any. I faxed them the returns document but never heard back from them.

They scammed me for about 100 quid. Was'nt happy how my credit card company handled it neither, so I cancelled my account with them aswell.

i contacted my credit card company yesterday. They were't very helpful either. They told me to google search and find a site where it proves that the company went under liquidation and to fax that on to them. So far can't find any news sites etc. only forums with complaints. Anyone know of a reputatable site with the story of dvdsoon ?

Just got a phone call of MBNA to say that dvdsoon have gone into liquidation. They said because of this they will now be able to recover all my monies which they could'nt before doing charge-back.
So if you get back onto your credit card company they too should of got the letter about dvdsoon's liquidation. Apparently because of the liquidation it is easier to get the money, they are even reclaiming cancellation fees dvdsoon charged me:)

Excellant news. I was just looking for proof that it went into liquidation to back up my claim.
