Has anyone got any ideas on this ?

A user has bought a second hand laptop, and changed the password and cannot remember what it is?

Its a HP, with XP and usb drives and dvd-rw drive. I have the model aswell (but dont have it to hand right now)

Anyone have any ideas anyway so far ??

Hmm, while I won't make presumptions, is it possible they got the laptop without knowing the password?

Is it a bios password or a Windows user account password?
