Notice how the headline states "Top 10 highest-accident rate cars"
while the description actually refers to claim rates . I do like the 'closely tailgating' comment though!

    http://cars.uk.msn.com/news/car_news_article.aspx?cp-documentid=746281

"The survey, conducted by confused.com stated that the Alfa Romeo 147 has the highest percentage of claims in the UK, with almost 24% of the model’s owners making claims for road accidents. Closely tailgating (:))the Alfa’s bumper is the BMW 330i, with 23% of there drivers being involved in crashes. Then follows the Mazda MX-5, Seat Leon, Alfa Romeo 156, Audi A6, Mercedes SLK, Audi A4, Porsche Boxster, with the Audi A3 bringing up the rear in this cavalcade of ignominy with 22%."

"In contrast it is the smaller cars which suffer from the lowest accident rates’, leading the way is Vauxhall’s Nova with just 8% of owners making claims for smashes. This is followed by the Fiat Cinquento (9%), Rover Metro (9%), Peugeot 205 (11%), Peugeot 106 (12%), Rover Mini (13%), Vauxhall Corsa (13%), the Nissan Micra, Citroen Saxo, and the Ford Fiesta where only 14% of owners have made claims for a driving mishap".

Ah yeah, but if you where driving an old Vauxhall Nova would you make a claim on your insurance?? Probably be cheaper to get a 'new' one
