Hows everyone. Am a keen amateur photographer and have sold a number of pieces of my work.

Looking for a course which provides the best basis for moving on in Photography as a career. I have heard good things about the course in Kilroy college which can be done from the comfort of your own home. Has anyone any views on it or any other recommendations.

Also does anyone know how to become a member of IPPA. Sadly I do have a day job so its not a full time career yet. As a result I'm thinking it may be difficult to find an IPPA member to recommend me.

    Thanks

    Col

Well, a full time collage course is your best bet, but many courses are more focused on the business of photography, with more business etc classes than photo taking and editing.

I think it's either Jessops or Amateur Photography that also do a 'stay at home' course... might be worth a look?

Cool will do that. Sadly fulltime not an option.

Any idea how IPPA membership can be got. Is there any members on here?
