"The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was email address here. Subject '', Account: 'mail1.eircom.net', Server: 'mail1.eircom.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 553, Error Number: 0x800CCC79"

Are you connected to an Eircom account while attempting to send?

The outgoing server should be the one of your current ISP.

Its an eircom account. I can receive mails on it no problem but cant send. Cant seem to find how to change the outgoing server if that needs to be changed.

In Outlook its Tools->Accounts then select your mail account, hit Properties. Select the Servers tab and change the outgoing server. I think eircom is "mail1.eircom.net" without quotes.

I think what they are asking you is...

Are you using eircom as your internet service provider... if so... this should work...

Otherwise use your ISP's SMTP server...

BTW... pop will work no matter what isp your with.
