Please move if in the wrong forum, but couldn't see any other forum suitable.

I have to send my mp3 player back to be England to be repaired and have lost the original packaging. Does anyone know where I can get a small postal box and bubble wrap etc. Do An Post sell these things?

I've googled it but I keep getting commercial packaging. I just want the one small box and a bit of padding.

Am in Dublin for those recommending a particular shop, but I'd imagine it must be easily available. I just have never needed the stuff before nor noticed anywhere selling it.

    Cheers in advance:D

A grocery shop might give you a small box, and well Post Offices sell Jiffy bags, which are covered in bubble wrap, though they may sell bubble wrap on its own too. A load of shredded paper would nearly do too.

Someone mentioned Easons to me before, probably any Tesco will sell you bubblewrap and ask them for some old boxes that they have thrown out the back or something.

Yeah, I'd say Eason's is oyur best bet but it's cheaper and more fun to nick it from work :)

Thanks - Will try Easons tomorrow.

As for Tesco, I know the one near me doesn't sell anything like that. Having shelves with food 'in-date' seems to be tough enough for them.

Might give my local post office a ring tomorrow to see if they have anything (seeing as I will have to go them anyway)

The post office near me doesn't sell any stationary stuff, so I dunno if you'll find anything at your one. But I've found pound shops (or whatever they're called these days) seem to have all the necessaries; envelopes, bubble padded envelopes etc. They're cheap too. You'll pay in Easons.

You could try over in the Portable Media Players Forum, I'm sure they'll have come across this dilemma before!
