Very unlikely you'll get cheap flights to Vegas at late notice - it's a popular destination at the best of time. Cheap seats tend to sell out quick.

Wife and I went last year

Flew Delta via Atlanta to LAX.

Delta total for two was € 900, compared to direct with Aer Lingus for € 1600

So worth the few hour stop in Atlanta

Flights on from LAX to Vegas are around USD € 100 each and go most hours but book them also on the web before you leave

    :)

I was there with my partner last year.
you should try getting a cheap flight on aer lingus.com then there is a low fares airline jetblue.com they have cheap flights from most major airports in the us. way better than most low fares airlines aswell, lovely new planes and seat back televisions. we flew from vegas to jfk with them.
    enjoy your trip!

Flew from New York JFK direct to vegas in May with Song (which is now part of Delta) Good airline with excellent in-flight entertainment, brand new plane. Cost was appox $150 IIRC.
