Cost of Golf Lessons?

    Afternoon all,

    Just wondering what you think the average cost of golf lessons would be for a beginner?

    Do you have to book a minimum amount or can you take it one at a time?

    I was thinking about getting lessons and wouldnt be getting them in Dublin so I would imagine it would be somewhat cheaper than Dublin prices..

    Anyone any idea or prices?

    Can be minimum 25,30 up to 100 per lesson. Teacher, location and length dependant. South County or Ratsallagh Pros are prob the best value IMO.

    Most can be had one at a time...some request a min booking.

    check with some driving ranges as they sometimes do groups..ie 4..5.. 6
    for much reduced fees over a number of weeks..especially in winter months.
    lessons on their own vary between 20 and 90/100 which can be a terrible waste if you are only being shown how to tie your shoes and never get to swing a club
    group option is the way to go if you can manage it

    Dont mean to hi-jack this thread but i'd be looking to get a lesson myself and would like to know if anyone can recommend a good instructor? Now im off 14/15 so i dont need the "this is how to swing a club" lesson. Just something to fine tune my swing.

    Btw it needs to be in dublin......
